Gaming Machine Venues Automatic Teller Machines Removal
Reverend the Hon. Dr GORDON MOYES: I ask the Minister for Primary Industries, representing the Minister for Gaming and Racing, a question without notice. Is the Minister aware that Victoria has banned all ATMs [automatic teller machines] from all gaming venues in that State? Is the Minister aware that the Age conducted a survey this year when 96 per cent of those surveyed, being persons diagnosed as problem gamblers, believed that the removal of ATMs from gaming venues would help curb their losses? What, if any, measures have been taken in New South Wales to remove ATMs from gaming machine venues?
