Gordon visits Lismore
What gives direction to the Parliament of New South Wales?
Do our political leaders ignore or embrace Christianity and its value system?
What role should Christians and Christianity play in the political life of this nation?
I would like to invite you and members of your church to a very special event being held in Lismore that will explore these important questions to all Christian people.
Christian Democratic Party Member of NSW Parliament Rev Hon Dr Gordon Moyes AC MLC will be the special guest speaker at the following church:
Venue: Lismore Baptist Church, Cnr Uralba St & Rotary Drive, Lismore
Date/Time: Friday, 8th December 2006 at 7:00pm
Rev Moyes will be speaking on the need for Biblical beliefs to be upheld by our Government – in its lawmaking, policies, values, language and symbols.
The purpose of the visit is so Rev Moyes can give an account of his continued work as a Christian Democratic Party member in maintaining a strong and prayerful Christian influence over New South Wales Parliament.
Rev Hon Dr Gordon Moyes is the former Superintendent of Wesley Mission, award-winning filmmaker, author, columnist, international television personality, inspirational speaker and preacher, and current Member of NSW Parliament.
