New magazine Church Today is published
A new magazine Church Today is being published nationally by the publishers of the award winning Alive Magazine. It has a sophisticated finish with a mixture of columns and feature articles, plus interviews with people in ministry. It aims to help and assist those in ministry, and those who are running churches (big and small alike) with everyday problems that they might encounter. It has 2 – 3 feature articles, and 4 – 5 columns per issue, each addressing a series of relevant topics. They will include, church planting, finances, staffing and administration, family matters, social and moral issues, current affairs, getting the right technology for your church/ministry, and much more.
The first issue includes the following feature articles:
1) Anglicans in the Pub: How the Anglican Church is getting out of its comfort zone and running Church in the Pub. 2) How the Church can rise up and be influential amidst current world crisis. 3) The state of the Church in Australia today. 4) It has regular columns on How to be a good leader, Getting balance in the family, and Maintaining the high morale of ministry and church staff, a column written by Dr Gordon Moyes. Dr Moyes writes regular columns in Alive and also in Church Today.
