Ask questions before you donate money
Regular readers will know that for two years I have been warning about the direction of the CDP, with its new emphasis on anti-Muslim immigration, the opposition to Islamic schools for children of Australian Muslim citizens, and the paranoia against anything that is same sex. I warned about our leadership’s agenda, and about the take over of the CDP by expelled and rejected former liberal extremists. I refused to stand for election to the CDP Management Committee for these reasons.
Many scoffed that such things could happen and placed all their trust in our Leader for Life. Now all those things have come to pass. I will not detail anything, but from the heart-felt cries of members of the Management Committee and members of the State Council of the CDP who have emailed me, I would just ask you to ask the following questions of anyone you think might be able to answer them and assure yourself. A black curtain has been drawn over all CDP activities, finances, and membership losses. No one is being told the true state of affairs. Long-term members are being kept in the dark.
So ask these questions:
Is it true that the Management Committee is so divided that a clear majority on important decisions is now impossible? Are the extremists now calling the shots?
Is it true that internal dissensions led to our State Manager collapsing with heart stress and being taken to hospital emergency?
Is it true that our State Manager, who replaced the former State Director after he was pushed out, was the subject of discussion concerning his future the day after his hospitalization?
Is it true that our State Manager had warned, as had his predecessor before him, that decline in support of the CDP and falling membership has resulted in the CDP now being on the verge of being bankrupt?
Is it true that the CDP Management Committee is continuing to trade knowing it cannot pay its debts?
Is it true that the Bishop of Harare has been brought from Zimbabwe at the urging of Michael Darby with a ten thousand dollar cost when the CDP coffers are empty?
Is it true that Michael Darby pays himself a large salary a month in advance before any work is done with Fred’s approval?
I predict you will start receiving urgent appeals for money soon. Before your money disappears into a black hole, get some answers to these depressing questions. A word of warning, every time anyone raises questions about the management of CDP they are told the issues are all lies. Then one month later it is reluctantly admitted that the questions were true. I have experienced this more than a dozen times. The questions above are facts, but be prepared, you will be told they are lies. But then they will be true!
And the next time you get a copy of Family World News, keep it as a memento. I predict it will soon close down for good. The old CDP is dead. I am deeply sorry, but I warned and urged change of direction. Obstinacy and selfishness refused to listen. Now it is all ending. There is nothing to show for thirty years of Christian concern in politics and hundreds of thousands of dollars in donations from faithful Christians.
