Wonderful Response To Benefactors’ Dinner
Two weeks ago I invited forty good friends, who have encouraged me in everything I have done over many years, to a Benefactors’ Dinner at NSW Parliament House.
It was an outstanding event. Some of those present even described it as an inspirational evening. I was thrilled by the fact that almost all the people I invited have decided to become benefactors of Family First New South Wales, even though half of them were not able to attend the dinner.
I knew I did not have to convince any of them of the importance of my re-election at the state election in March 2011. So I asked them each to make a major donation to help in establishing the infrastructure to make that possible.
What has happened since has taken our breath away. Those friends have sent cheques ranging from one thousand dollars to ten thousand dollars! Our staff and volunteers in the Family First offices at Warriewood, City and Penrith have been encouraged no end. And we still have a few more replies to be received.
If you can become a donor to Family First New South Wales that would make for a wonderful partnership. Your cheque, for whatever amount, can be made out to Family First New South Wales and sent to Family First NSW GPO Box 1854, Penrith NSW 2751. Or, if you prefer, you can send your credit card details.
Donations of up to $10,500.00 for the Federal election, and $1500.00 for the State election, are fully tax-deductible and are not reportable to the Australian Electoral Commission. Donor letters also went to all members this week, and you can respond on the enclosed slips.
I hope you can stand behind me in our endeavour to change New South Wales for the better.
