The Minor Characters about the Cross
Every preacher has preached about the major characters involved in the death of Jesus. Over the years I have preached on Peter and John, Herod and Pilate and so on. But I have never heard of anyone doing a study on the minor characters about the Cross. But in the Gospels we find many minor characters about the Cross, whose stories repay careful Bible study, especially in the light of recent archaeological discoveries.
