Televisions' lowering of standards have caused viewing for our family to be very disrupted as the channel must be constantly changed or at times turned off. Accountability from the networks is a necessity.
Thank you

Comment on Funding for School Chaplaincy by Marc Clayton

Dr. Moyes,
Though I am in full support of the idea that children in public schools should have a chaplain to teach God's Word and offer direction in the development of personal ethics, values and general social justice, I do not think this program should be funded by the government.

I believe the systems in the other states where these programs are supported (funded) by the various churches and church organizations should be the pattern. My reason is that private funding prevents the state from "dictating" what can be taught and who can teach it. It appears to me that a substatial pratical precedent has been set, and this is the one that should be followed.

I am certainly encouraged, on the other hand, to see that John Howard is supportive of the chaplaincy and appreciates its value for our children and their well being, now and in the future.

Sincerely,
Marc Clayton

Ignoring this man would be like ignoring a rabid dog left in a room with you. That rabid dog wants to harm you.

Even in your article you exposed the Skeik for what he is. This type of fundamentalist islam has to be exposed to the general Australian public to alert them that true Islam is not a peaceful religion but its aims are to steal kill and destroy infidels, ie you and I.

The truth has to be told.

Thanks for this uncompromised information about Israel. It is good to read/hear accurate reporting of this nature, as there appears to be some sort of 'blockage' of any information even remotely positive about the return of the people to the land promised to Abraham. It is also useful to note that its population is 20% ethnically Arabic/Palestinian, and that they not only live in freedom of worship, and freedom from persecution there, but have a significantly higher standard of living than most rank-and-file citizens in surrounding countries.
Whilst recognising that modern Israel is not perfect, what you have pointed out about her shows what could be done when the people are united in vision, prepared to work (and die if need be) for the prosperity and safety of the country and the up-coming generations - It has been pointed out that many Christians in China are praying for persecution to happen in the West as an agent of refining, and that such pruning has produced such abundant natural fruit in Israel under the circumstances you have described may bring the hope that a 'spiritual' prosperity may return to the church.
God bless you for your stand.

To all who are interested in the school chaplaincy funding programme.

The Federal Government has now announced the details of their plan to help fund school chaplaincy positions. The National School Chaplaincy Programme will commence in the 2007 school year. Information on the application process can be found at this Federal Department of Education website.

Very well said, Dr Moyes. My wife and I fully support your comments.
From our objective research on the subject, homosexuality has best been described as a "treatable disorder".
Unfortunately, this lifestyle has been justified by distorting what is “wrong” to appear acceptable, by gaining community sympathy for it with words like “disadvantaged”, and giving it a new name (“alternative” life-style).
Of course, logic is also overlooked to justify this lifestyle, because if everyone lived that way, then the human race would be extinct in very short time.
There are people who leave that way of life, and thankfully return to a normal life, but understandably, “vested interests” suppress or deny this information as much as practical.
In contrast, marriage is a very special and sacred relationship for the pro-creation of children (amongst other things). Anything which threatens this will ultimately damage society.
